Are the selector switches made of polymer or steel?

Where does the washed get installed in this kit? Do not find any documentation on the package I ordered as well as in the Sig site. Thx

It goes on the shaft/drum under the selector switch with the curve of the washer facing outward. It puts tension on the switch so it does not move back and forth in the rifle.

Is this compatible with AR15s/AR10s? Or specific only to Sig brand firearms?
