CSR is 1x23 while the FSR is 1x28.

It is the model name to identify the difference between the different Wolverine models, as there is also a smaller CSR as well.

What is the height from the rail to the center of the optics/lens, 30mm,35mm,42mm? Buying a magnifier but difficult to line up without knowing height.

Sightmark states the included mount is for absolute co-witness.

will this fit Henry Ar-7 survival

The Sightmark Wolverine 1x28mm FSR 2 MOA Red Dot Sight will not directly fit the Henry AR-7 Survival due to the 3/8" dovetail used on the AR-7. To mount this optic, or any other optic that uses a picatinny base will require to purchase and install a conversion rail that converts your 3/8" dovetail to a picatinny rail. I would recommend the Ncstar 3/8in. Dovetail To Picatinny Rail Adapter Mount, which can be found by using the link below:

No, the Sightmark Wolverine 1x28mm FSR 2 MOA Red Dot Sight uses a picatinny rail mount. Picatinny mounts are not compatible with weaver rails.

Will this handle recoil from a 30-06 as a back up optic? Or how about a 12 gauge slug gun?

Does both the FSR and CSR have LQD mounts ? Thanks !

Both the Sightmark Wolverine FSR and CSR have models that come with the LQD mount. Models FSR (SM26020-LQD)and CSR (SM26021-LQD) come with the LQD mount.

Is there any mount out there that gives lower 1/3 sight picture with the FSR?

The Sightmark Wolverine 1x28 FSR Red Dot uses the Aimpoint Micro mounting footprint. So an aftermarket mount for this footprint that is lower 1/3 co-witness would would work. The mount at the link below will work.
