No, the Silencer Co barrel will not work with the M17.

Yes, for the M17, you will have to remove the loaded chamber indicator. While there are no specific videos on how to do it. I looked up how to swap the sight plate, and that’s gets you in the general direction. It took me about 10-15mins to disassemble and reassemble everything.

I have read the M17 has a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) that will have to be removed for this barrel to fit. It's not I can live with that.

YES! I was actually pleasantly surprised when I received this barrel. All previous notes stated that this would not work with the M17 because of the unique top mounted "loaded chamber indicator." Well apparently SilencerCo listened and MINE CAME WITH THE CUTOUT!! Dropped right in! Yes - it was on BO for 11 months but ultimately it was worth it!!!

Yes and no. Yes it will fit if you remove the load indicator. No if you do not want to remove it.
