What is the advantage between the $2170 mount and the $1595 Mount?

A
Answered by Pete, guest, from IN, United States, on May 01, 2022

Weight. I had the EQ6R Mount. Quite a lot of weight to heft. The HEG mount weighs less but can not carry as much payload. If your intent is astrophotography, you will want the EQ6R. If just visual observing, the EQ6r is over kill.
