If you were looking to use a sling like this Specter Gear Universal QD Swivel CST 3 Point Tactical Sling, you would need QD sling sockets as this sling uses quick detach buttons. Springfield rifles already have a QD socket located on the buttstock of the rifle, so you would just need a handguard mounted QD socket like the Leapers UTG Low-Pro Picatinny Angled QD Sling Swivel, found using the link below:
