the cheaper SLA0101 requires a roll pin and punch to install. The SLA0102 (more expensive one) is stool less and just has a pin that slides in like the trigger or hammer and is held in place by spring tension inside the guard. Basically it's toolless and easier to install

The more expensive one is a toolless install there's a video on spikes website about it

Tool less install (not tool less removal) vs traditional pin and screw. Tool less version has rubber pads where the guard meets the receiver to prevent rattle and spring loaded pins that hold the guard in place. You can accomplish a similar installation with the other option by using two or three small pieces of electrical tape (cut into tiny square pads) where the guard meets the receiver. I purchased and installed three of the standard version of this trigger. Hope this helps.
