This is the same length as a rifle buffer tube, the length is approximately 10-1/16"
its 9.5 inches
Manufacture says 9.25", my tape measure says closer to 9.125"-9.20" in hand (member below says 9.5" we're close). The internal length of this is a standard/carbine length 7 inches. Which means it uses the carbine length buffer weights and springs. Not the A5 Vltor buffers, or Rifle length buffers. Installed on a mil-spec lower, gives you a "pull" distance of 12". Which is back of buffer tube straight down then to "Trigger Center". Which will be something the ATF uses to score your "Pistol" vs "SBR". 12" gets you 2 points towards SBR, 12.5" gets you 3 points. So gauge the brace you will be putting on if they add length.
