Yes, I have one. You just hold down the brightness button like most most red dots - I have no idea why the guy answered you with wrong information. Also instruction manuals - read them

Will this fit Springfield echelon?

The Hex Wasp Micro Red Dot Sight is compatible with the Springfield Echelon. However, the Echelon is capable of fitting full size optics with larger windows, the Hex Wasp is a micro optic. Some full size alternatives include the Trijicon RMR, Ameriglo Haven, Vortex Defender ST & XL, Holosun 407c/507c, Leupold Deltapoint Pro and more.

Since the Hex Wasp is discontinued, what would be the best red dot for the Hellcat OSP?

The Hellcat OSP can fit red dots with the Shield RMSc footprint. These sights include the Shield RMSc, Swampfox Sentinel, Sig RomeoZero and a few others. The Shield RMSc can be found at the link below.

I zeroed my hex wasp micro dot placed it in my carrier - after 3 weeks I can no longer get the dot to appear. Why??

What exactly comes in the box ? Does it come with 2 sets of screws and an Allen and Torx wrench ? Same box if ordered from Springfield Armory ?

The Springfield Armory Hex Wasp Micro Red Dot Sight comes with a CR2032 battery, hex and Torx wrench, as well as two sets of screws. (6#-32/M4).

I have an XDS MOD.2. Do I need my slide milled or will this go on in place of the stock rear sight?

If you have the OSP model it's already milled. If not then no. I have the Mod 2 OSP and this Red dot is designed with the same footprint the OSP and Hellcat are already machined to accept. It sits in front of the rear sight on the Mod 2 for full co-witness.

If the slide has been cut to accept a RD with the RMSc footprint then yes. Otherwise you may be able to mount it with an aftermarket plate or rear sight replacement plate.
