The TLR-1 HP-X can use either the SL-B9 rechargeable battery or the traditional CR123 type. It offers a higher performance rating (1,300 vs 1k lumens) with slightly reduced run time on the rechargeables. OP sells the light with two different SKUs on this site/app, with the SL-B9 version going for slightly more. I recommend the rechargeable version as its only a few bucks more, and buying a set of those SL-B9 batteries separately is like $20+ extra. Hope that helps.
