This is an angled foregrip and does not fit in the definition of AOW so you will be fine. Unless law changes after of course.

Not sure why the opticsplanet response got so many thumbs down but their response was perfect from a legal standpoint. Now from a gun owner standpoint I would consider this a hand stop. My reasoning is a vertical grip, is exactly that a grip that, extends vertically downward from your handguard/rail.
