The FX-9 receiver is wider than a standard AR-15 receiver in a couple areas that interfere. It would fit extended, but may not fit collapsed.

It can be fitted on an FX9 pistol ... I employed my gunsmith to fit my FX9 with this PDW brace and he had to do some milling on the lower receiver to accommodate the brace and it came out awesome. The only problem that came up was after firing about 100 rnds, the castle nut loosened so my gunsmith re-tongue the castle nut and start ked it to n place....problem solved. With the brace collapsed the FX 9 pistol is 211/4" long... With the brace extended it measures 24 1/4
inches......all things considered...... The brace works very well with m FX9
