Yes ,the 7.62 MG version is the same as the semi auto 7.62 version. It will fit all Surefire Socom muzzle devices 5.56 , 7.62 . If you have a Surefire 556 socom muzzle device , you can attach a 7.65 trainer device to it because the inside diameter of the trainer is over 1.25". However you cannot attach a 7.62 Surefire Socom muzzle device on 5.56 , because the thread pitch and diameter are different , not compatible ! Surefire has made it idiot proof so body and property are not damaged. I'm not responsible if you mess up. Contact Surefire for more info , they can help you make the correct decision.
