So I will need this and the Handguard retainer cap to hold a Magpul handguard on an AR15? Or I will need a Delta ring and pair it with one of he 2?

This is just a cosmetic piece for the end of Tacfire Handguards. To use a drop-in handguard on your rifle, you would need a delta rings assembly near the rear of the barrel and an end-cap behind your gas block.
