I think the more applicable question is, what magazine is the BCG compatible with?

Our 9mm PCC BCG's are compatible with both Glock and Colt magazines. Ejector height also plays a critical factor in BCG functionality.

Does this need an AR9 or AR15 lower receiver?

Yes, this kit does not include a lower receiver. A dedicated 9mm or 5.56 lower receiver with a magwell adapter is needed to complete this build.
