The Adaptive Tactical TAC-Hammer RM4 Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stock will work with a 16" barrel.

Thank you for your question. The Adaptive Tactical TAC-Hammer RM4 Rifle Stock is compatible with 16" standard tapered barrels or with 16" oversized bull barrels. The stock ships with a barrel insert that is dimensioned for use with standard tapered barrels. When the barrel insert is removed the stock is compatible with the larger dimensions of the oversized bull barrels.
