The Tactical Solutions 1in Pac-Lite Compensator is just a compensator and not a flash hider.

Is there anything I could do to buff the finish from shiny to flat without totally ruining the compensator?

Hi, will this fit a Ruger Mark 4 - 22/45 lite?

Yes it will. I got my first one for my Mark 4 22/45 lite. I've since put others on my Ruger Precision .22 bolt action rifle, my Ruger Charger .22, my Smith & Wesson Victory 22, my Walther PPK/S .22 and my Walther P22. Love these things.
