The medium height rings should be tall enough as long as you have a standard barrel contour (not a bull or target barrel). The highs are the safe recommendation especially if you are going to be installing flip caps or any other accessories to the end of the scope.

From the Browning Site:
•Use the Standard (low) ring height for scopes up to a 44mm objective with a standard barrel contour.
•Use the Intermediate (medium) ring height for scopes up to a 50mm objective with a standard barrel contour.
•Use the High ring height for scopes up to a 56mm objective with a standard barrel contour.

Just put that exact scope on an X-bolt 6.5 Creedmoore long range model. Medium rings fit perfectly, leaving about a 3/16” of gap between barrel and bottom of objective.
