Is it recommended that a new gas piston be purchased along with this and should it be the tapco one?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Ethan C., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on July 26, 2019

Per the manufacturer, "Due to the varying sizes of factory SKS pistons, your factory piston may or may not have a proper fit with this gas tube. In some cases, a TAPCO replacement gas piston must be purchased as well."
