Tier One Extended and Short Arca adapters (used for attaching bipods or accessories to your rifle), the difference primarily comes down to your rifle's caliber, stock style, and primary shooting discipline:
* Extended Arca: Best for large-caliber rifles, heavy recoil, and flat-bottomed stocks. It provides a significantly larger clamping area, which prevents the adapter from shifting or slipping under heavy recoil. It weighs about 130g.
* Short Arca: Ideal for small-caliber rifles (like .22 LR) target guns) and narrower stocks. It is highly compact and weighs only about 70g.
