What material is the barrel nut made out of?

The Tiger Rock AR-15 Free Float Handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The manufacturer does not specify the barrel nut material. I would recommend reaching out to them directly for more information.

Will this fit a high profile upper?

The Tiger Rock AR-15 Free Float Handguard w/ Barrel Nut is designed to fit the AR15 platform and features an extended top rail for "No-gap" installation. It is not compatible with low or high profile AR10 upper receivers, or higher profile receivers found on platforms like the HK 416.

Will this fit on a Windham weaponry complete 16 inches upper?

Yes. The Tiger Rock AR-15 Free Float Handguard w/ Barrel Nut will fit any AR15 platform rifle/pistol that uses a low profile gas block. If you have a fixed front sight and a delta ring, they must be removed in order to install this handguard.
