What is eye relief? What is needed to mount to a picatinney rail?

A
Answered by phencer, guest, from GA, United States, on April 30, 2018

As with most magnified ACOGs, the eye relief is about 2 1/2 inches, basically need to keep your face close. If learned to shoot with both eyes open, this becomes less of an issue. A few different mounts can be used, just do a simple search on this site.

Will these ever come back in stock with the ACSS reticle?

A
Answered by Scott, member, from CA, United States, on August 17, 2021

I asked Primary Arms (maker of the ACSS reticle) and was told: the co-branded Trijicon ACOG with ACSS Reticle models have been discontinued… bummed… I really wanted the TA44 in ACSS

The models listed on this page do not come with a picatinny mount, which you will need for your X95. The AR Height model is meant to be mounted to a AR carry handle. For the X95 I would recommend the low height model along with this mount: https://www.opticsplanet.com/v/ac12036-trijicon-compact-acog-high-picatinny.html

Yes, that should be lower 1/3rd co-witness height when mounted.
