According to True Precision, starting in 2023, their Sig Sauer P320 Compact/Carry Threaded Barrel's will no longer have the LCI peep hole cut on top.

Just installed one and thought I had to return it but.... the "Sig guy" on you tube said all barrels Optics Planet sells - Faxon- Xtrue and all others for the Sig p320 M17/18 and X compact models they all eliminated the LCI cutouts in their barrels so you have to remove it! The video he has is very easy to follow and to remove it! Glad I saw it because I have an Optic and according to him the LCI just pushes gases up through it and screws up the red dot sight picture which was happening to me with my Sig Romeo getting foggy and discolored along with the carbon buildup it is a design flaw along with the extractor screw having a torx 15 head not very easy for troops in the field to repair quickly unless they have a Torx with very good threads! Techs and people who answer questions need to put this in the item descriptions! Just Saying!
