The spacing of the cross bolts are intended for use with a picatinny rail - there is no standard for slot spacing with Weaver-style bases - with a Weaver-style base, the bolts may align with the slots, they may not.

Yes it will. I used this mount on Remingington 870 Leapers UTG M87 Tactical Scope Mount To Fit Remington 870 Shotgun & Other Models MNT-RM870A is designed for RM 870 Shotgun and variants. The Leapers UTG M87 Scope Mounts allow you to attach sights, scopes, lights and other Picatinny compatible accessories to Remmington 870 Shotguns. Fit good only had to modify the mount for ejection port with a little trimming of the mount. Scope went on nicely!
