The bad reviews stated a specific problem that they felt the barrels were responsible for, which was an assembly problem (the slide and frame had excessive space with the barrels in place) and then a feeding problem due to that excessive space. It needs to be determined exactly what actually caused the problems. Everything else is speculation. Speculation is not meaningful or really helpful.
