Thank you for reaching out! That is correct; the Ruger American Gen 2 SA will be compatible with this chassis system. One thing to note is that you want to make sure you are using AICS magazines with the chassis system.

The UD7 chassis are configured for standard long action (3.715") CIP mags will not function with this model.

Hi Nick, the UD Chassis, specifically the UD Howa 1500 SA Chassis, is not compatible with the Howa Mini Action at this time.

Max barrel diameter is listed at 1.35" A Criterion bull barrel is 1.10" You could measure yours to be sure but any barrel contour smaller than bull, such as yours, should clear just fine
