Can i mount this directly to the dovetail on the rear of my gen 3 slide? I have a PF940C 80 percent lower and am wondering if this will work.

No, this is for a 11mm dovetail, it will not be compatible with the rear sight dovetail of any pistol.

This will only mount to a 11mm dovetail, it will not fit a picatinny rail.

No, this will not be compatible. This will mount to an 11mm dovetail and the S&W 22A has a weaver rail.

This will mount to any 11mm dovetail. This will only fit a vent rid if it has an 11mm dovetail.
