For Vertx pants, the uniform pieces (basically anything tactical opposed to lifestyle) are going to be cut true to size. A pair of standard jeans are cut to vanity sizing, which means your 34x32 pants are more of a 36” waist and not 34. Vertx uses vanity sizing (standard lifestyle clothing sizing) on the lifestyle pieces and they cut the pants true to size on their uniform pieces. The recon pants are considered a uniform piece so if you wear a size 34x32 in regular jeans, you may be closer to a 36 waist on these pants.
