Email response from manufacturer:
Do not go by pant size… It is easiest to figure the Cobra belt (regardless if they are getting that one) and then match up to the Skirmish.
VTAC BELT SIZING INFORMATION:
Forget all about pants sizing and take out a tape measure and measure around your waist with your pants on, that way we are all talking about the same measurements and not trying to translate anything. Compare your tape measured length to the lengths below.
Here are the actual tape-measured lengths of the COBRA belt:
Usable lengths, there is about 4" of play in each belt: M (34 ½ -37"), L (37 ½ - 41"), XL (41 ½ - 45"), XXL (45 ½ - 49 ½ ")
BIG and TALL Cobra Belts: XXXL 49-53 ½; XXXXL 52 ½ - 56”
VTAC BATTLE BELT: Med 31 1/2 “, Large 34 1/2", XL 37 1/2”, XXL 39 1/2”
VTAC BIG and TALL: XXXL 43” ; XXXXL 47”
VTAC SKIRMISH BELT (360' fit so pick the size that is closest, but does not exceed your measured waist)
Med - 33 1/2” Large - 36 1/2” XL - 40” XXL - 43"
The belts are intended to work together, so if you get Large in one you get Large in the other.
Note: If you are an in-between size, consider going up on size in the Cobra belt if you are going to wear it on the outside of the VTAC Battle Belt or VTAC Skirmish Belt
The manufacturer recommends to go with the size that is closest to your measured waist size but does not exceed your waist size.
Below is the measurements for each belt:
Med - 33 1/2"
Large - 36 1/2"
XL - 40"
XXL - 43"
