I have one mounted on my GX4. Perfect fit and you can still see the factory iron sights. As the factory sights are fairly low profile, you can't see the white dot on the front sight blade. You could always put a dab of contrasting paint just above the factory dot to make it easier to see, just in case your green dot malfunctions. Only complaint I have is that it is a little too bright at night, so you don't get the nice sharp dot you have in the daylight. Still perfectly usable, though. Then again, if you are going with a Viridian on a Taurus, you really shouldn't expect perfection. Don't get me wrong, I personally have had 3 different Taurus semi automatic handguns, and all 3 were every bit as reliable as my more expensive guns. It's just not realistic to expect top tier precision at this price point.
