the gdo25 has a 2moa dot while the x30 has a 3moa dot. looks like they do not take the same battery so that would vary. The GDO30 is just slightly bigger than the x25 in size so it all comes down to personal preference and said mission at hand. Both seem to be of high quality so ultimately do you like the 2moa dot or 3moa dot.
