Will it come with a charger or is that something separate? Or is the info wrong and it's not rechargeable at all?

The Viridian Weapon Technologies X5L-RS Gen 3 Universal Green Laser Sight does not come with the charger, you will have to get that seperately.

If you mount this on a top rail behind a A2 front sight will the light and laser "clear" the sight?

No, it will not be tall enough to clear the Front sight Post.

The light/laser unit will fit, however you won't have room for the remote switch.

Viridian does not offer the long gun set up with the pressure switch in FDE. They only offer the light/laser X5L in FDE. You can get just the light here:

But you would need to reach out to Viridian for the pressure switch parts.
