Yes, the included plates are Level IIIA Shooters Cut Ballistic 10"X12" Panels. Per the NIJ, to quality as Level IIIA, they must be tested to stop .357 SIG and .44 Magnum ammunition fired from longer barrel handguns. They do not provide rifle ammunition protection.
