I am looking for a laser/light for my Mossberg Shockwave, will this light handle the recoil of a 12 gauge shotgun? Barska cracked after 3 shots.

These are meant for AR rifles, and VISM (a sub-brand of NcStar) is generally around the same quality as Barska, so it may not put up with the punishment of a 12ga, especially not a shorter barrel like the Shockwave.

Yes, the switch is included. You are correct that eventually the beams will cross paths, how far out will just depend on whatever distance you choose to zero the lasers.

Can you mount this on a top picatinny rail, and still con-witness it accurately through an M4 standard sight?

Yes, this will mount on any picatinny rail, and much like the Steiner DBAL units used by many militaries, it sits low enough not to interfere with any optics on the gun, and the laser and designator are both offset so that the front iron sight will not interfere with them.
