You can if you have a picatinny rail on the M1A, however as this is an AR height mount it will most likely be much higher than necessary.

It depends on whether it is possible to install this mount on your M1A. If this is possible and you already have, for example, the Weaver / Picatinny plate, then you can fix this mount and sight on your M1A, respectively.
