I know vortex has a great warranty for there scopes is it the same for the rangefinders?

Is the display iluminated?

The display is an LCD that is illuminated by ambient light. Therefore, it will not be able to be seen in extreme low light conditions.

The IMPACT 850 will operate in temperatures ranging from 6F to 130F.

Hi, The AD says range 400 to 850 yds. Does this mean it will not work for closer ranges like 100 yds?

The minimum effective range is 5 yards. 400 yards is the max range for non-reflective targets and 850 yards is the max range for reflective targets.

This rangefinder has second target priority rather than first target priority, so it will not be as effective for golf.
