What would be the range of the of this scope???

The Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x50mm Rifle Scope can be used on a variety of rifles for a variety of ranges. There isn't a "max" range for the scope because that would depend on a handful of other variables and what you mean by the range. Please email us at techsales@opticsplanet.com for more information.

Is there a center black dot when not using the red dot feature

The Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x50mm Rifle Scope has an etched reticle. So the reticle can still be used when the illumination is turned off or not being used.

Are the mounting rings included? If not what rings do you suggest?

The Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x50mm Rifle Scope does not come with rings. You will need 30mm diameter rings, but the correct height rings you need will depend on the rifle you are mounting the Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x50mm Rifle Scope to. The guide below will help you determine what ring height you need. The second link below will take you to some rings that will work well with this scope.

What is meant by "BDC" and "APO". If BDC = Bullet Drop Compensator, how is the scope calibrated to specific calibers

APO apochromatic objective lens system.
BDC stands for bullet drop compensation.
This item is not made for specific calibers.
