To mount the Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56mm Rifle Scope to a Browning XBolt MAX LR, I recommend using high or extra high rings. If you have a picatinny scope base the Vortex 34mm rings at the link below will work.

If mounting atop a 1-piece picatinny rail, the Strike Eagle 5-25x56 can be mounted in 34mm low-height Precision Matched Rings, PN# PMR-34-92, as the minimum clearance option. As the X-Bolt MAX LR has an adjustable comb-height, the maximum ring-height recommendation is somewhat arbitrary, as the shooter could comfortably utilize any height, so long as it cleared the objective. A 1.0" or 1.1" height ring would also be appropriate, PN# PMR-34-100 and PMR-34-1.1.
