The Vortex Venom 1x26.5mm Red Dot Sight uses the Docter/Noblex footprint. The Shield Plus optics ready model has a slide cut to fit the Shield RMSc footprint. So the Vortex Venom 1x26.5mm Red Dot Sight will not mount to an optics ready model of the Shield Plus. If you have a non optics ready Shield Plus the Vortex Venom 1x26.5mm Red Dot Sight can be mounted using a dovetail mounting plate. The EGW Dovetail mount model 49308 at the link below will work.
