It is not night vision itself, but will work with a night vision clip on device.
This model does not have a locking turret, however, it does have a mechanical zero-stop!
Your scope ring height should be selected on the type of rifle you have and the objective lens size of the scope. For this scope, low height rings would be the recommended height on a bolt action rifle. This will allow for the lowest possible deck height while providing an easier to use/shoot head position.

Get the Vortex 3-15X Viper PST. I have both and they are good scopes but the 3-15X is a little bit more magnification and has the "Christmas tree" reticle which is great for wind corrections.
