how high they are - from contact point at the receiver to the bottom of the ring cradle ?

The measurement from the top of the dovetail to the bottom of the scope tube will be .535"

No, your rifle should have either a 3/8" or 11mm dovetail on it, these are for 16mm dovetails.

Are these rings for a 1" tube diameter? When you scroll down and look under the specifications it says they are for a 30mm tube. Which is it?
