You will very likely need the highs. There is no actual height dimension provided for these mounts, but because they are direct mounts the medium will likely be too low. General rule is that high rings are required for 50mm objectives unless we can verify exact height dimensions of the mounts, riflescope and rifle. These mounts will come with whatever hardware is necessary to mount them to a Weatherby Vanguard.

The medium mounts might work but we typically recommend high rings for 50mm scopes, especially if you want to run flip up scope caps.
