It is a temporary guide cone for installation when pushing the pins through the trigger assembly. Remove the guide cone and replace with the hex screw.

It is for the installation to guide the pins through easier, then removed to add the screw. Very useful tool too keep around

Its an guide tip for the pins. Keeps the trigger and hammer in line for easier installation of the anti-walk pins.
