It will work and you don't even have to change the magazine tube. I purchased a 5+1 mag tube just in case and to my surprise I didn't even need to change the stock 4+1 mag tube. Just take the mag tub cap off swap barrels and it's good to go, now I have a 5+1 mag tube. I'll figure out how to use it, but for now I'm happy with the end result.
