Will these work in boats with under seat storage?

The backrest and seat bottom do mount separately to allow the bottom cushion to fold forward to access storage underneath. You would attach a Wise 8WD11 piano hinge to the edge of your mounting surface, and these hinges are provided in the box with the cushions. Please make sure the storage opening is no more than 20 inches long, and 15 inches from front to back to cover storage completely, and help with sturdiness.
