I have one of your original models, W1099, for which I need a new template. My old black plastic one has lost its true precision. Will this one fit it

Hello and thank you for your message. The D2796 (12" Dovetail Jig with Aluminum Template) comes with an aluminum template. The part number you are referring to (W1099) is a 7/16" template that has been discontinued.

Is this aluminum template good for all different size dovetail bits, and how about bushings neede for the router.

What size dovetail router bit

You would need a 7/16" guide bushing and a 1/2" 14° Dovetail router bit with 1/4" shank.
