Yes, these will work for the 590 Shockwave.

NO, the front sight band will not fit around the shockwave barrel, which is thicker than a full length 590 at the muzzle. Also as far as I know, there isn't a version of the shockwave with a dovetailed front sight. The rear sight / rail mounted fine, but without a front sight it's kind of a moot point. I bought this seeing the "Yes"reply and was pretty disappointed when it didn't fit.

Frank, The system with the front sight "band" will not work on the Shockwave. Item: MB-4001R-4 with the band for the front sight will not fit the barrel diameter (thicker) than a standard barrel. XS Sights supplies shims for the front band that range from a barrel diameter of .840 to .865. The Shockwave barrel is .935 in diameter. It will never go over the barrel. Optics Planet should put a note on those 2 systems. XS Sights web page as I found out after, say's that it will not fit the "Heavy barrel" which is on the Shockwave.
The other options for the front sight (no band) will work.
