Is this a slide on grip (that requires the picatinny rail to have at least one open end) or a clamp on type?

This is a vertical grip for Picatinny rails.

Does this fit on M-Lok rails or just Picatinny?

This is a picatinny grip. It can be attached to an MLOK rail if a picatinny accessory rail is added to the MLOK.
