I have Terra ED 10 x 42 and do not see where the 1/4" threaded insert is. I am hesitant to pry the front cap off in fear of damage. Can you help? — 2 Answers

The front cap should either pop off or unscrew to allow the use of this adapter. If it will not pop out, try rotating it counter-clockwise to see if it will unscrew.

While it is true that the front cap should either pop off or unscrew, it does neither. There is no slot for a screwdriver to fit into to unscrew it (it won't go on it's own) and if I pry anymore, it will certainly damage the cap. Any other recommendations?
