How does this compare to the Vortex Razor HD 1-6x in terms of optical quality, eyebox, and shooting with both eyes open at 1.1 magnification?

Optical quality between the two is nearly identical, close enough that you can't tell a difference. The Zeiss is a bit lighter than the current Razor HD Gen II, however the newly released Razor HD Gen II-E fixes most of that difference. The Vortex has a better eyebox and is great for use with both eyes open shooting. That will work on the Zeiss as well but seems a bit easier on the Vortex.
