does Ziess only offer the most basic reticle? I do know other manufacturers offer a variety of reticles and for 4000.00 id like a choice? just asking

In the V8 line the only reticle options are #43(mil-dot) and #60(illuminated plex). There are several additional reticle options available in the V4, V6, and LRP riflescope lines.

The rings would need to be 36mm tube and very high ring height.

What mounting rings do I need? Does it come with them?

It uses 36mm tube diameter rings, which are not included. Please contact us at techsales@opticsplanet.com with the make, model, and caliber of your rifle for assistance finding proper height rings.
